Anastasia is an award winning floral & event designer that has successfully grown her brand to become a skilled lifestyle expert .
Anastasia has extensive experience in floral design, fabrics, fashion design, interior design, DIY, catering and technical event production. Anastasia began her career in Los Angeles in the ‘90s, where she studied under celebrity Fashion & Interior designers and launched her own fashion studio. She became a groundbreaking designer in the intimate apparel world when her handcrafted brand was chosen to launch in LUCKY magazine and she was asked to create the first private label for Fred Segal in the loungewear category. As a creative artist, trips to the L.A. Flower mart, Fabrics district and hosting open invitation dinner parties were her favorite things. A transition to event planning and floral design seemed a natural fit and she has successfully planned fabulous events from Malibu to Mexico to NYC, The Florida Keys and the Bahamas. Anastasia created and developed the very first DIY wedding Apps including the first and only comprehensive Jewish ,Military, DIY, Green, Gay and Destination wedding apps. Today, Anastasia is a DIY innovator and trendsetter best known for her creative ideas, unique floral and event design, custom built event pieces and attention to detail. Currently, She is a periodic wedding expert for Jean Chatzky and the TODAY show and is most excited about her new role as a Brand Ambassador for Michael’s Craft Stores. She recently launched the How To DIY Wedding Flowers website where she has curated the best wedding resources, tutorials and inspiration to share along with her expertise, advice and love of everything DIY Flowers with brides everywhere. She is also thrilled about her new DIY flower journey and her exciting recent partnership with the revered brand, DestinationWeddings.com .
In her spare time, Anastasia still enjoys shopping at Flower Marts, vintage stores and crafting new projects. She also donates her free time to a local Pet Rescue.
